Shannon's Rainbow Rescue

My name is Megan, and I am 19 years old. I have been riding since I was 14 and consider my horse, Alegria, my best friend. I not only ride her, but she trots as well! Harness Racing is more of a European sport but I really think it's fun. You ride in a sulky and drive the horse. Of course, I just ride my horse most of the time because I don't have a ranch of my own. Alegria has to share with some other horses but she's really friendly so she doesn't mind at all!!!

So a friend of mine told me about this movie that will be coming out soon about harness racing. Not many films are made about harness racing. All the great films- Horse Whisperer, Seabiscuit, Flicka..were about regular race horses. So I'm really excited for this film to come out, plus I love Krista Allen and Claire Forlani!!

My friend's boyfriend worked as a PA on the set and said that now the film is in litigation because the director and a few of the writers and some other guys were trying to steal the film away from the investors and rightful owners and sell the film to foreign for some easy cash. This would be awful because that means the film wouldn't ever be released in US theatres!!! The investors had it all planned to release the film theatrically in the USA first and then go foreign, like most films do, but these guys who claim to be producers or whatever with no investment or authority just come in and try to take over! I guess they feel they can make a lot of money and the film has great potential to do well, but why cut out the investors? That's stupid.

So, in an attempt to save the film, I am going to get more details on the case and follow up here with updates.
Meanwhile, I am going to list all the defendants here so you guys know the players!
